The Eldorado Outpost is the information and activity hub for the Uwharrie region. It is our hope that everyone who comes to Uwharrie finds the experiences in which they seek. This "Land of Many Uses", with its variety of natural resources, offers many possibilities to express one's interests.
The Outpost, with its central location, is the axis for unlimited recreational opportunities in the region. We have all the necessities while in Uwharrie, and can also connect you with other recreational service providers to assist you with your specialized interests.

Provisions
The Outpost, being an outdoor recreation outfitter, provides traditional mercantile goods, comfortable clothing, rugged footwear and quality outdoor gear. Days of having a large general merchandise depot have not all passed. Uwharrie provided the inspiration for the Outpost and so it is stocked for all the outdoor adventures that Uwharrie has to offer... and yes, you can fuel up on a good hot meal here before heading out on your way.
